Options are one of the more complex instruments when it comes to trading. Though, their complexity can pay off. Not only can you increase your probability of profiting by using Options, but you can also translate your skills from the Options market to trading outright Stock and Futures.

What does that mean? It means that by learning about Options, you can use that information to also increase your probability of profiting in Stocks and Futures, by employing the same kind of statistics and models used in the Options market.

After all, Options are based off of the underlying Stock/Future. Naturally, the probabilities that you assess in a Stock/Future’s Options Market is going to be relevant to an outright Stock or Futures position.

There’s A Learning Curve

The tradeoff though, is that Options aren’t as straightforward as buying and selling Stock, because the price of the Option can fluctuate based on time, volatility, the underlying Stock’s price and liquidity.

Don’t get me wrong though. While there’s a slight learning curve (more than others would let on, but less than you would think), if you can add, subtract, multiply, and divide you have all the math abilities you will ever need when it comes to Options.

That said, what is the best way to learn about such a complex topic? More importantly, how do you go about learning Options in a way that is most time efficient for you and straightforward?

Jumping Into The Market Blind Isn’t A Great Idea

There’s a couple of ways. For one, you could jump right into the deep end, open a brokerage account, and start trading Options immediately. That’s not such a smart idea though, let’s be real.

What’s the alternative? You could find yourself a highly experienced mentor who is willing to show you the ropes and guide you on the right path. If that was possible for you, you wouldn’t be reading this. What else is left?

Well, you could take a course on Options. Yeah, yeah… I know. You’re thinking, “There’s so many courses out there. Which one’s are good? Which ones are a scam? Which ones are overpriced?”, but what you’re really wondering is, “Which one is worth my time and my hard-earned money?”.

65% of People Are Visual Learners

Let’s face it, if you don’t have an experienced mentor to show you how it’s done, jumping into the market blind is a terrible idea. Going through a course is your best bet. It is the most leveraged use of your time.

Will it teach you absolutely everything you need to know? No. Will it make you a profitable trader overnight, if at all? Absolutely not. Will it set you on the right path? Most likely yes.

What about getting a book? If books were the answer, everyone would be a trading master, right? Plus, books have trouble illustrating the visual elements and skills that are important to successful trading.

Science says that people learn in 4 main ways: visual, aural, reading/writing, and kinesthetic. It’s been shown that 65% of the population are visual learners.

Books Are Cheap… But Not The Best Way To Learn Options Trading

Now, books are cheaper than most (good) video courses on Options, but who actually reads and finishes books? 57% of books that are started are not finished. To me that is insane. I love reading. It’s a great way to learn about various things.

Like I said earlier though, reading is not the most leverage use of your time. The average person reads at 250 word per minute. Your average novel is 90,000 words. At that pace, you’ll be done in 6 hours. 6 long, arduous hours if you’re not a voracious reader.

One of the first books I read when I began trading (before I knew what I was doing) was Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets by John J. Murphy (It’s not on Options, but a good example).

Great book for making you feel productive. Not so great for actually learning how to trade. The book itself is roughly 576 pages. It would take your average reader over 10 hours to finish that book, and at the end of it you would hardly be any better off.

Your Solution

You need a video course that is concise and straight to the point. You will be learning both visually and aurally, by the very nature of a video course. The solution for you is the Options Trading Mastery Course. It’s a 4 hour video course that covers Options from A-Z.

I’m not going to relay all the details here in this post. I’d just be repeating myself, because everything you need to know is on the other side of that link. Oh and by the way, we here at Operator Trading created this course. Moreover, people with real experience, trading real money in the live market, created this course.

Remember, you need a course that is:

  • The whole package
  • Easy to digest
  • Structured in a way that you can go at your own pace
  • Comprehensive
    • Covers both beginner and advanced concepts
    • This offers you the most leveraged use of your time and money
  • Affordable
  • Taught by someone with real, live experience

The Options Trading Mastery Course is all of these things, and much more.

As I said, if you click the link to the Options Trading Mastery Course, you’ll find a much more detailed commentary on the information contained in this course. It truly is a course that allows you to learn Options trading from A-Z. It’s specifically designed to be one of the only paid courses on Options you will ever need.

That’s how deep this course goes. The choice is yours. You can take the long road, that may be in the completely wrong direction to where you should be going. Or… (and this is just a suggestion) you could take the shortcut, and fast track your path towards learning to being proficient in Options.

Remember This…

Remember, Options in and of themselves allow you to consistently profit from a wide-set of strategies (explained in detail in OTMC), and they also allow you to apply Options theory to trading outright Stock and Futures.

Whether you plan to trade Options strategies and increase your probability of success or trading outright Stock and Futures, you can’t go wrong by learning to trade Options.
